What are Clarus Gen2 misting glasses?
Clarus Gen2 is foldable, rechargeable eyewear that delivers a fine mist near the eyes while worn. It combines a glasses-style frame, mist modules beside the lenses, detachable reservoirs and removable lens assemblies. It is paired with its specified sodium-hyaluronate misting solution.
Can I read or work while wearing them?
The hands-free format is intended for stationary activities such as seated reading and desk work. Check fit, visibility and mist sensation on the actual unit and follow its instructions. A wearing photograph illustrates the format; it does not establish that visibility is unaffected for every wearer or task.
What does the experience feel like?
Some domestic consumers have described a cooling, refreshing feeling around the eyes during use. This is subjective user feedback shared with Clarus, not a measured response time or a controlled clinical result. An individual sample review is the way to assess comfort, fit and visibility.
Do the glasses treat dry-eye disease?
Clarus does not offer these materials as evidence of treating or curing dry-eye disease. The product does not currently have a Chinese medical-device registration certificate. Regulatory classification and sale requirements must be checked separately for the destination market. The product information does not replace professional eye care.
How are Gen2 and Gen1 different?
Both generations use the eye-misting eyewear format. Gen2 has foldable temples and removable reservoir and lens assemblies. Gen1 has a larger, non-folding integrated frame. This comparison describes the designs, not a clinical or performance ranking.
Can the reservoir and lenses be removed?
Yes. The Gen2 reservoir and lens assemblies are detachable. Review removal and refitting on the supplied configuration using its instructions. Folding and detachable parts can be inspected in the product images and sample review.
Can I order prescription lenses?
Prescription-lens configuration can be discussed with an optical partner. Confirm the lens processing, fit and prescription requirements before ordering; removable lenses do not mean every lens shape or prescription fits automatically.
Which liquid is intended for the device?
The specified companion misting solution contains sodium hyaluronate. That ingredient name does not establish device compatibility with other products. Do not substitute arbitrary eye drops, contact-lens solutions or other liquids on the basis of the ingredient alone.
Does 1.5–2 hours mean I should wear them continuously?
No. About 1.5–2 hours is the operating time per charge reported from supplier testing. It is a battery-operation figure, not a recommended continuous wearing session. Refer to the supplied instructions for use.
Where can I see real mist output?
The 30-second demonstration on the Clarus website and official YouTube channel includes actual device mist footage and product close-ups. Its wearing segment is a still photograph. It is a product demonstration, not a clinical effectiveness test.
Are they the same as sealed moisture-chamber glasses or a warm eye mask?
Clarus Gen2 uses powered mist modules and a specified liquid. Its disclosed design is a misting-eyewear format; the materials do not establish a sealed moisture chamber or a heated eye mask. Do not assume performance, temperature or efficacy equivalence between these categories.
