How do eye-misting
glasses work?

The simplest way to understand the format is to separate the frame, the mist modules and the specified solution. This guide explains the Clarus Gen2 design and the questions worth asking when reviewing a unit.

The frame carries the function

In Gen2, the mist-delivery assemblies sit beside the lenses. The eyewear is worn during operation, leaving the hands free. Foldable temples allow the frame to be stored more compactly between uses.

The solution is part of the pairing

The specified misting solution contains sodium hyaluronate. A listed ingredient does not establish that the same device can use every solution containing it. Use the supplied instructions and confirm the specified product rather than substituting an arbitrary liquid.

Check 1: fit and position

During a unit review, check how the frame sits and whether the supplied configuration is comfortable. A wearing-scene photograph helps explain the form but cannot tell you how a particular person will experience it.

Check 2: actual mist and Check 3: visibility

Watch the real-device demonstration, then assess mist operation on the unit you are reviewing. For stationary use, check whether the frame, lens configuration and mist are compatible with the activity and your visibility needs. Do not use it for driving or activities that require an unobstructed view.

Check 4: component handling

Review folding and the reservoir and lens assemblies using the supplied use and care instructions. Detachable parts should be assessed for practical handling. Follow the supplied instructions for handling, cleaning and care of the configuration you are reviewing.

Check 5: the evaluation brief

Separate the wearable experience, battery operation and commercial review. Gen2’s measured operation is about 1.5–2 hours per charge; that is not a recommended session length. Retail teams should also establish the destination’s product classification and entry requirements before launch.

What this guide does and does not establish

This product guide is provided by Clarus. It explains confirmed design features and a practical selection approach. It is product information rather than evidence of treatment or cure of dry-eye disease.
